**FULLY FUNDED** First Aid Training Course

At Oscar's Wish Foundation we really pride ourselves on hearing what parents say. It is by listening to the needs of our parents we can provide much needed support.

Responding to how we can support worries and fears we have collaborated with the wonderful Sarah at Daisy First aid Brighton & Hove to bring the first funded first aid course to 12 attendees.

Having a baby after the death of a baby or babies can be a whole mixed bag of emotions. fears, worries and concerns.

We are often contacted to ask how to help with this and we felt that now was the time to introduce this training.

Spaces on this particular training are available for -

*Registered Oscar's wish Parents who are expecting or have had their rainbow baby in 2020/21

This relaxed and friendly class is perfect for:

• Expectant parents
• Brand new parents
• Parents about to start weaning and worrying about choking

Babies under 12 months are very welcome to come along too - we love having them in our classes! 

In this class you'll learn about:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Infection control when giving first aid
• CPR - baby, child and adult
• How to use a defibrillator
• Recovery positions - baby, child and adult
• Choking - baby, child and adult
• Meningitis
• Anaphylaxis
• Burns
• Head injuries
• Febrile seizures
• Broken bones
• Poisons
• Shock
• Bleeding and bandaging

The safety of our trainers and customers is our top priority and strict infection control measures will be followed at all times to make sure we can learn vital first aid skills whilst keeping everyone safe.

Classes are usually £25 per person but Oscar's Wish Foundation is fully funding this training.
