#BLAW2021 Day 6- a much later post today because we have been super busy preparing for the Wave Of Light (taking place tomorrow) and also hoping to reach out to a wider audience with a later evening post.
Today is the 6th day of raising awareness and shining a spot light on the impact that the death of a baby can have. The theme for this years BLAW is well being and today’s theme is support from the community- those around you.
You might have had a strong and understanding support network which is what we all hope for or you may have felt alone and unsupported. If this was your experience we sincerely want to extend our care, thoughts and gentle healing to you.
No parent, person or partner should have to experience this alone.
As a charity working closely with our families (for as long as they would like us involved) we will always signpost to other charities or support networks to ensure that all round support and care is offered at what is quite possibly the most devastating time.
Learning about what support is available within your community is so vitally important and we wanted to use our platform tonight to ask for your help in raising awareness of those services, charities and places within our community that can help? Or might have helped you.
