This summer, little feet can make a life-changing difference.
Children and families are stepping up to support brothers, sisters and families whose lives have been changed forever by the death of a sibling.
The Rainbow Walk for Oscar's Wish Foundation is a fun, family-friendly challenge that raises vital funds while celebrating love, remembering precious children, and ensuring bereaved siblings and their families receive the support they deserve.
💛 Why This Matters
The death of a baby or child changes a family forever.
Parents face unimaginable grief & siblings experience loss too. They lose a brother or sister, a lifelong friend, and a future they had imagined together.
Children often grieve quietly, struggling to understand their feelings or finding it difficult to talk about their sibling.
Many families tell us they feel isolated after their loss. They need compassionate support, safe spaces where they can remember together, and opportunities to help surviving children understand that their brother or sister will always be part of their family story.
At Oscar's Wish Foundation, we believe no child or family should have to navigate sibling bereavement alone.
Funds raised through the Rainbow Walk help us provide:
Bereavement support for siblings following the death of a brother or sister.
Family activities that help children remember, honour and celebrate their sibling.
Resources to help children understand grief in an age-appropriate way.
Family events and peer support where bereaved families feel understood.
Memory-making opportunities that ensure every child is remembered with love.

Between 1st August and 1st September, children can complete their very own Rainbow Walk.
Choose a distance that suits your family:

Walk wherever and whenever you like ~ through parks, woodland trails, on holiday, along the beach or around your local neighbourhood.
Every step remembers a child.
Every mile supports a family.
Every child helps another child feel less alone.
🌈 Walk in Every Colour
Make your walks as colourful as your memories.
Wear rainbow colours, hunt for rainbows in nature, create rainbow chalk art, collect colourful treasures or dedicate one of your walks to a brother or sister who will always be loved and remembered.
Whether it's a five-minute stroll or a family adventure, every step makes a difference.
