What is BLAW?
🤍 The week provides an opportunity to remember and honour the babies who are so deeply loved and missed, to share experiences, raise awareness and help ensure that no one has to navigate their grief alone.
🤍 It is also a time to come together to raise vital funds, share valuable resources and offer understanding to those who may be experiencing loss in their own lives.
How does OWF supports everyone during Baby Loss Awareness Week?
🤍At OWF, we recognise that every experience of pregnancy and baby loss is unique, and that grief can affect people in many different ways.
🤍 During Baby Loss Awareness Week, we stand alongside bereaved parents, families and loved ones, offering compassion, understanding and a safe space for remembrance.
🤍 Through sharing stories, raising awareness and encouraging open conversations, we hope to break the silence and stigma that can surround baby loss.
🤍 We also aim to remind every family that their baby matters, their grief is valid, and they deserve to feel supported, whatever their journey looks like.
🤍 Whether through remembering a much-loved baby, taking part in the Wave of Light on 15 October, sharing personal experiences or simply taking a quiet moment to reflect, there is no right or wrong way to be part of this week.
🤍 At OWF, we stand with every family, honour every precious life and hold space for every story.
🤍 You are not alone, and your baby will never be forgotten.
Thinking of you.
