Thank you Team

Last night we hosted our 10th AGM at the lovely Oak Barn Bar and Restaurant the roaring fire & wonderfully upbeat meeting was refreshing.

It was so lovely to see everyone ~ both familiar & new faces. Being able to look back over the last year together was special.

Our Annual Report reflected that this year has brought a mixture of achievements & challenges that have shaped us & guided our journey to where we are today.

Hard work, determination & passion for supporting families has brought us to this point within the charities journey. We are at an exciting moment for the charity & its next steps.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude for all of the teams support, dedication & encouragement over these past few years.

It has been a true honour working alongside such a compassionate group with fire in their belly! I am genuinely thankful for everything that they have contributed & I’ve loved seeing friendships blossom & grow.

As trustees step down from their roles & new trustees step up, we highlight that we are committed to continuing the strong pathways that have been created, while also building new ones that grow from these foundations.

We have a determined, refreshed Board, ready to learn from this past year & carry those lessons forward as we shape the year ahead.

Thank you, Emily, for leading the Board over the past two years & for your service as a Trustee. Thank you, Kara, for your commitment as a Trustee & guide for our counselling service growth & Jess ~ for serving as a Trustee, F&E team & more recently as Meeting Secretary. Thank you Phil, Nicky and Nick for your commitment to volunteering for OWF- so grateful to you all.

You are all truly appreciated & have made an impact on the charities work.

A warm thank you to our new Trustee Board ~ Nilufa, Kelly, Chelsey & Gemma with lovely Lucinda continuing as Treasurer. The Board will be led by our new Chairperson, Nilufa with an exciting year ahead. We welcome Charlotte & Jason (@butterflyglow_candles) to our team as volunteers

Thank you for stepping into your new roles & as the handover begins in the coming weeks, we will all settle in. We look forward to planning, strategising and pushing forwards.
