Walk for Noah

Last Sunday “Walk for Noah” took place as Noah’s daddy walked the distance of a marathon across the costal route of the South Downs. Accompanied by Noah’s mummy for special parts of the walk this special tribute was an emotional journey.

Callum walked through every emotion and was joined by supportive friends and family- making this special day even more precious.

Callum started at Eastbourne Harbour and finished at Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton where Noah was born.

Callum said “I am doing this walk to honour our son Noah. His due date would have been 22/05/23 but heartbreakingly he didn’t make it past 21weeks gestation. Noah was born on the 5th of January 2023 in the Willow suite at Brighton hospital. The Willow suite offered us a safe space away from the delivery ward during the most difficult time. After delivering Noah we were able to spend precious time with our son before we had to say goodbye. This was made possible by the support from the amazing midwife’s and most importantly the funding from OWF.”

The support surrounding Callum and his family raised awareness that we need to break the silence, challenge the taboo and the need to remember that Dads Grieve Too hosted by Oscar's Wish Foundation.

This his precious tribute has raised an incredible incredible £3645 which will support local families massively.
